The idea for the band came in late 2020 by Ricky and former member Michael Tolbert. By late 2021, Page Castillo and Mike Debrei had been brought on, setlists were being worked out, and gigs were being booked. Our debut came on Halloween of 2021. In 2023, Michael Tolbert took an opportunity out of state, and in January of 2024, Jimmy Starr was brought in to round out the current lineup.
Our Focus
While everyone in the band can admire the likes of Ronnie James Dio, Tony Martin, Ian Gillan, and the other vocal powerhouses that have fronted the band over the years, Snowblind is specifically a tribute to those early days with Ozzy at the helm. The setlists pull primarily from those first 8 incredible albums.
Snowblind is an endeavor to honor the music of Black Sabbath and bring the energy of those early days to the stage.
